Police Identify Man Killed in Kingsville Crash
The crash occurred Wednesday morning on Belair Road.

A Fells Point man was killed in a crash in Kingsville Wednesday morning, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Another driver was hospitalized and multiple vehicles were damaged as a result of the crash on Belair Road, police reported.
Mario Anthony Silvestri, 87, of the 600 block of South Broadway in Baltimore, was pronounced deceased after the crash, according to the report.

Just after 9 a.m., Silvestri was driving a Ford Taurus north on Belair Road near New Cut Road when a Jeep Wrangler heading south turned left in front of him, police reported.
Silvestri’s car hit the Jeep and both vehicles, propelled by the impact, continued into a parking lot, where they struck several unoccupied cars, according to the report.

The driver of the Jeep was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he is expected to survive, police reported. He was not identified.
Silvestri was taken to Franklin Square Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased, according to the report.
Police said the crash team will send its findings to the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office to determine whether charges will be filed.
Silvestri was a Highlandtown native who served in World War II, was an appraiser for the state regarding highway projects and worked in retirement as a limo driver and at the Bel Air Auto Auction, according to his obituary.
