Police Investigating Reports Of Early-Morning Tire Slashing
Police indicated Monday that vandals slashed the tires of 17 vehicles. Two teens were seen in several areas reporting damage, police said.
PERRY HALL, MD – Baltimore County law enforcement officials are investigating reports of 17 vehicles having their tires slashed early Saturday morning.
Households in the area between Silver Spring Road and Necker Ave. were vandalized at around 1 a.m. Saturday, according to a social media post by Baltimore County Councilman David Marks. Marks wrote that vehicles at homes were victimized on several routes including Hallfield Manor and Manorfield road and Hanf and Slater avenues.
According to Marks, two teenagers were believed to be seen in the areas impacted between midnight and 1:30 a.m. Saturday. A Baltimore County Sheriff's department spokesman said Monday that no arrests have been made after a total of 17 vehicles had their tires slashed by several teenage suspects who were seen in the area at the time.

Two of the suspects are described as being white males, approximately 15 – 18-years-old. One wore a white shirt and the other wore a black shirt, according to a release on the Sheriff's department website.
Marks said that vandalism and the destruction of property should never be tolerated and that he hopes the criminals are apprehended and prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.
