I've recently heard from some readers concerned about the use of the word "," rather than "Christmas," in Patch articles.

In many cases, especially when writing about events in Perry Hall, it's appropriate and accurate to use the word "Christmas." Patch has used the word "" frequently over the past year when referring to various .

Of course, however, it's generally up to the organization hosting an event to decide what it is called. If a school music program decides to designate the theme as "holiday" or "winter," rather than "Christmas," Patch will report it as such.
