Pooles Island Brewery Now Open In Northeast Baltimore County
The brewery and taphouse near White Marsh is dog friendly and is hosting a fundraiser to benefit dogs in need this weekend.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Pooles Island Brewing Company is now open in the development known as the Baltimore Crossroads, near Middle River and White Marsh. The craft brewery opened Friday, March 1, and held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, March 7.
The business bills itself as dog friendly.
This weekend Pooles Island Brewing Company is hosting a fundraiser to benefit Don't Be A Bully, a nonprofit that rescues bully breeds from kill shelters.

Called "Mardi Paws," that event is from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 9.
Pooles Island Brewing Company includes a taproom that is 3,200 square feet in addition to the brewery in a venue that the head brewer told WJZ would fill people's glasses with all types of beer, "light, dark, sweet or hoppy."

Pooles Island Brewing Company is located at 11695 Crossroads Circle. Regular hours will be 5–10 p.m. Wednesday to Friday and noon to close Saturday and Sunday.
