Ravens Rally At White Marsh Mall Is Postponed

The rally slated for Friday at the White Marsh Mall has been postponed until further notice.

PERRY HALL, MD - A pep rally for the Baltimore Ravens at White Marsh Mall has been postponed.

The Ravens are playing their bitter rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend, which usually brings the fans out in droves on purple Friday to show support for their Baltimore team.

M&T Bank, which was sponsoring Friday's pep rally at White Marsh Mall, announced on its Facebook page Wednesday that the rally was "postponed." A makeup date was not provided.

The announcement about the rally comes as the NFL is embroiled in fan uproar after many players chose to take a knee during the national anthem over the weekend.

The Baltimore Ravens play the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1, at M&T Bank Stadium.
