Robber Tried To Strangle Victim Near Silver Spring Road: Police
There was a violent robbery early Friday morning in the Perry Hall area, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.
PERRY HALL, MD - There was a violent robbery reported in the Perry Hall area, off Silver Spring Road, on Friday morning, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
The assault and robbery occurred in the 8700 block of Blairwood Road, police said. There, a woman was taking items from her vehicle at 12:40 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, when a stranger approached her from behind and demanded her bag.
The suspect pushed the victim into her vehicle and put his hands on her throat, according to Officer Jennifer Peach.

"The suspect strangled the victim in the rear of her vehicle, grabbed the bag and fled the scene," police reported in a statement.
The victim declined medical attention and had no visible injuries, according to Peach.
