Rosedale Motorcyclist Dies In Christmas Eve Crash: Police

BALTIMORE COUNTY — A Rosedale man died in a motorcycle crash on Christmas Eve in the Nottingham area, Baltimore County Police said. John-Ryan Heilker, 27, of Leatherwood Place, was killed in an accident about 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to a police report, Heilker was riding a 2018 Triumph motorcycle northbound on Belair Road, then entered the on-ramp to White Marsh Boulevard. Heilker reportedly lost control, struck the curb, and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, authorities said.
