11 Injured In Crash On Belair Road: Harford Fire And EMS
BREAKING: Drivers should avoid the section of Belair Road near Plaza Ford due to emergency response.

BEL AIR, MD — Emergency officials are asking drivers to avoid the section of Belair Road near Plaza Ford Friday evening because of a multi-vehicle crash.
There was a major crash at 5 p.m. reported in the 1700 block of Belair Road. Six ambulances were called to the scene, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Eleven people were being taken by ambulance for treatment, all with injuries that Gardiner said were not believed to be life-threatening.

Among the vehicles involved was a tractor-trailer carrying cars, and as a result, Belair Road was reportedly closed between Whittaker Mill and Fallston roads.
The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reported that in addition to working at the crash scene, it had personnel tending to a series of field fires on North Fountain Green Road from Frogleap Way to Hoagie Drive.
