Schools Closing Early in Baltimore County on Wednesday

With highs slated to be above 90 degrees on the heat index Wednesday afternoon in Baltimore County—where not all schools have air conditioning—administrators made the decision to close early for the second consecutive day.

Schools will close two hours early on Wednesday, the school system said in a statement Wednesday morning.

Evening and after-school activities are canceled.
