Serial Credit Card Thief Struck Perry Hall Area: Police

Police say the 55-year-old man took credit cards from women at businesses.

A Baltimore man is wanted in connection with the theft of three people’s credit cards, including two victims in the Perry Hall area, police say.

Rodney Dana Sydnor, 55, of the 1500 block of Northwick Road, is suspected in these incidents, according to police:

  • March 16, 2015—While a woman was working at a business in the 5400 block of Campbell Boulevard, someone took several hundred dollars and a credit card from her purse. The card was used at several locations.
  • Oct. 17, 2014—A credit card was taken from a woman in the 8200 block of Town Center Drive. The card was then used at several places.
  • Nov. 22, 2014—A credit card was taken from a woman’s purse while she was working at a business in the 1400 block of York Road. The credit card was then used at multiple locations.

The credit cards were used at the White Marsh BJ’s and Towson Nordstrom.

Police say they have a warrant charging Sydnor in the incidents and are asking for help locating him. He is described as a 5’9”, 210-pound man with a heavy build, brown eyes and black hair. He is known to drive a black Cadillac 4 door CTS with Maryland tags of 8BG2357.
