Slumping Driver Arrested On I-695 In NE Baltimore County: Police
A man slumped over the steering wheel on the side of I-695 near Belair Road was arrested, Maryland Transportation Authority Police said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD โ A Rosedale man found slumped over his steering wheel along the shoulder of Interstate 695 near I-95 in the Rossville area has been charged. Police allege he had heroin, a loaded handgun and marijuana inside his 2003 Toyota Takoma.
An officer checking on the welfare of a driver who appeared to be slumped over his steering wheel woke him and reported there was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
When the driver got out, police said officers searched the 2003 Toyota Takoma and found a variety of contraband.

Zachary Shumaker, 23, of Rosedale, has been charged with the following crimes, police said:
- Transporting a firearm in a motor vehicle
- Illegal possession of ammunition
- Illegal possession of a regulated firearm
- Disqualified person possessing a regulated firearm
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of heroin
Officials said he was being held without bail.
