To qualify for the 4A championship, the Gators beat the Annapolis Panthers in the class 4A state semifinals, 74-63, Thursday night at the Xfinity Center. The Cougars beat the previously undefeated Wise Pumas, 55-52, in what The Washington Post reported was a nail-biter of a playoff game.
