Students Plant Pinwheels for Peace Off Joppa Road
Carney Elementary School students celebrated International Peace Day.
A group of students at nearby Carney Elementary School recently made pinwheels to recognize International Day of Peace, which was Sept. 21.
The art students created “Pinwheels of Peace” that they will plant on the school’s lawn “in an effort to spread the message of peace throughout Carney, Maryland and the world,” according to a statement from Baltimore County Public Schools.
