Suspected Gunman From The Avenue At White Marsh Sought: VIDEO

Help identify three people, including the suspect and two persons wanted for questioning, in the shooting on The Avenue at White Marsh.

NOTTINGHAM, MD — Nearly one month after a man was stabbed and shots were fired on The Avenue at White Marsh, the Baltimore County Police Department released video from the incident. Police asked for help identifying three people in the video, including the suspected gunman.

Authorities said they were called around 1:47 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, for a report of a disturbance. Multiple fights had broken out at 8125 Honeygo Boulevard after restaurants in the area were closing.

One man believed he had been shot but it turned out he had been stabbed in the lower body, officials said. Police said the 28-year-old was driven to a local hospital and was treated for a non-life-threatening injuries.

During the disturbance authorities said that a man was believed to have fired shots. The suspect was wearing a white tank top and grayish skinny jeans, according to Baltimore County Police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer Peach. He appeared to be a very thin black man between 20 and 30 years old, she said.

Police said two additional men are wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting:

One was a black man with a scruffy-type goatee and short black hair; he was wearing a red shirt with writing on it and white pants, Peach reported.

Police said a heavier-set black man about 25 to 35 years old wearing a white tank top and blue jean shorts was also wanted for questioning.
