MIDDLE RIVER, MD — One person was hospitalized following a potential hazmat situation Wednesday afternoon in Middle River, officials said.

At 4:14 p.m., crews reported being called to the 800 block of Lannerton Road, where a suspicious odor was coming from a home.

Officials said the fire department found no dangerous readings on its hazmat meters, and the person was hospitalized with a condition not believed to be life-threatening.
