'Tea with Clara' is a Nutcracker Treat for Little Ones
Maryland Classical Dance Academy at Dancemoves Studio of Dance announces its uniquely adapted Nutcracker production.

The Maryland Classical Dance Academy (MCDA) at Dancemoves Studio of Dance in White Marsh invites the community to share in holiday cheer with its production of โTea with Clara,โ a Golden Book production and unique adaptation of The Nutcracker ballet. Performances will be given Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., at the College Community Center, CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd.
Under the direction of Deborah Engerman, MCDA director and former Ballet Mistress for the Bad Boys of Dance, the program features dancers from Dancemoves Studio of Dance and Towson University, as well as a guest performance by New York-based Complexions Contemporary Ballet dancer Youngsil Kim as the Sugar Plum Fairy.
โTea with Clara,โ at approximately one hour and 15 minutes, is the perfect length for the younger audience member, who will have the chance to sit on stage and listen to the beginning of The Nutcracker story, as it is shared by the showโs main character, Clara. Following the 2 p.m. show only, for a nominal additional fee, children ages 10 and under will have the opportunity to join in a festive tea party with Clara.
