Teen In Custody After 1 Injured In Baltimore County Shooting

Police said the shooting occurred Tuesday in the Middle River area of Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A 15-year-old was taken into police custody on Tuesday following a shooting in Baltimore County that left one person injured.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday in the 3900 block of Cutty Sark Road in the Middle River area.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local area hospital in critical but stable condition.

The 15-year-old suspect was placed with the Department of Juvenile Services, police said.

According to authorities, there is no ongoing threat to the community.
