The Omnibus Publishing, Baltimore, MD, is proud to announce the second picture book from author and Columbus, MS resident, Candy Grant. Candy Grant is the first children’s literature author to be published under our brand. By using her own life’s experiences Candy has created a series of books that remind us all of life’s important lessons.
In her lighthearted new picture book, “Will You Bee My Honey?” (Published by Omnibus Publishing), Candy Grant uses energetic bees to express the joys of love and family. “Will You Bee My Honey?” – Mr. Bee finds the love of his life and tells her “I don’t have lots of money, but I have lots of honey. I will love you all my life if you will bee my bumblebee wife.”

Written for kids ages 6 months to six years, Grant seeks to teach the meaning of love and family in her delightful tale, “Will You Bee My Honey?” The illustrations will make you nostalgic for the day you fell in love and found your Honey Bee. The story of this Humble Bee who loves his gal will sure to delight all audiences. This title is currently available on Ebook and will be released in hardcover on August 25, 2014.
We are also thrilled to announce that Candy Grant is being considered for the 2015 Ezra Jack Keats New Author Award. The Edward Jack Keats Award is given annually by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation to an outstanding new writer of picture books for children.
