Perry Hall Father Killed Two Sons, Then Himself in Murder-Suicide: Police

Baltimore County police confirmed three people died in Friday morning shootings.

A murder-suicide in Perry Hall left three people dead Friday morning, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Julian Roary Sr., 47, fatally shot his two sons and himself early Friday morning, according to police.

Julian Roary Jr., 12, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Ian Rory, 10, was taken by medevac to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, where he was declared deceased, police reported.

Officers responded their home in the 8900 block of Yvonne Avenue after midnight Friday for a reported shooting.

Julian Roary Sr.’s girlfriend, who lived at the house, called 911 upon hearing what she thought were firecrackers and finding instead that the three were bleeding and unresponsive in the upstairs bedroom, police said.

Police said the three were shot in the upper body and head.

Three people were confirmed deceased in what appeared to be a murder-suicide, Cpl. Shawn Vinson reported after 4 a.m. Homicide detectives were investigating the incident.

“The investigation showed that that Roary recently had lost his job and was struggling financially,” police reported. “He left a suicide note detailing his intentions.”
