May 11: Fullerton Fireworks Fundraiser at Perry Hall Batter's Box

Raffle proceeds and a portion of the food and drink receipts will be donated to the fireworks committee.

The Annual Fullerton Fourth of July Fireworks, now in its 49th year, costs about $30,000 to organize, event coordinator Rick Swinder said.

One of the event's many fundraisers is coming to Perry Hall on May 11, 7-9:30 p.m., at the  sports bar. Several state and county politicians plan to attend, including Sen. Kathy Klausmeier, who serves on the Fullerton fireworks committee through Allied Community Services Inc.

Raffle proceeds, as well as a portion of the food and drink receipts, will be donated to the committee.

Event funds are provided entirely by donation—no government funds are used, Swinder said. "We'd love the county to give us funds, but they're cutting, cutting, cutting."
