Tree Branch Jams Traffic On I-95 Near White Marsh

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD -- Traffic was heavy for drivers trying to make their way south of White Marsh on Friday afternoon. On Interstate 95 south, there were backups from approximately 1:30 to 2:20 p.m.

Two right lanes were blocked as the result of a fallen tree branch on southbound I-95 past the exit for MD 43, the Maryland Transportation Authority reported at 1:50 p.m.

By 2:30 p.m., the incident cleared, and congestion was beginning to ease.
