White Marsh Food Truck Tuesday Offers Trick-Or-Treating

Pets and children can participate in a costume contest in White Marsh at the Halloween-themed food truck Tuesday at the firehouse.

WHITE MARSH, MD — Children are invited to trick-or-treat and compete in a costume contest Tuesday in White Marsh. The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company is hosting its final weekly Food Truck Tuesday event of the season Oct. 20 with a special Halloween theme.

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, people will be asked to keep 6 feet of distance between one another. Attendees should wear face coverings if they are at least 2 years old.

"For our last Food Truck Tuesday on Oct 20th we are having a Halloween theme and encouraging everyone to dress up!" the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company announced.

Candy stations for trick-or-treating will be set up outside the fire station on Philadelphia Road.

In addition, there will be costume contests for kids and dogs. Target, Petco and Chick-fil-A will provide prizes, dog treats and toys, officials say. Children who win will have the opportunity to "Shop with a Firefighter," according to organizers.

Attendees can also enter a raffle for a basket filled with items, including adult beverages, from Hard Yacht Cafe and Anchor Bay East Marina.

The Food Truck Tuesday Halloween event will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 10331 Philadelphia Rd., White Marsh, MD 21162.
