20 Displaced by Fire Off Rossville Boulevard: Officials
The Red Cross was assisting residents displaced by apartment blaze, Baltimore County public safety officials said.

FULLERTON, MD – A two-alarm fire broke out in the Fullerton area Wednesday morning, displacing 20 tenants, according to public safety officials.
Crews were dispatched at 5:27 a.m. to an apartment fire in the unit block of Leatherwood Place and arrived to find flames coming from the back of the apartment building, officials reported.
Everyone safely evacuated on their own from the garden-style apartment complex, according to officials.

By 6:45 a.m., Fire Director Bruce Schultz reported the fire had been placed under control.
There were no injuries as a result of the blaze, Schultz said.

A total of 20 people—17 adults and three children—were displaced because of the fire, and they were receiving assistance from the Red Cross, according to authorities.
Public safety officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
