Two Rescued from Crash on Interstate 95 Near White Marsh

The crash occurred between Joppa and White Marsh on Interstate 95 north.

The entire passenger side of a vehicle had to be removed Monday night to rescue a person trapped inside the car on the side of Interstate 95, according to first responders.

At approximately 8:15 p.m. on Monday, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported that its crew was at the scene of a crash on I-95 north at mile marker 69.9; the location is between MD 43/White Marsh Boulevard and MD 152/Mountain Road.

To free one victim, crews had to remove the passenger side of the vehicle and roll back the dashboard, according to the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company.

Two people were transported for medical treatment, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported.
