Visit Perry Hall Farmer's Market For National Farmers Market Week

PERRY HALL, MD — The first week of August marks National Farmers Market Week, and there's no better time to visit the Perry Hall Farmers Market and support local producers.

This year, National Farmers Market Week from Aug. 1 to 7 celebrates the resiliency of farmers markets during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Perry Hall Farmers Market is open Saturday mornings. Vendors sell flowers, fruits, vegetables and honey, according to organizers.

Some of the vendors expected to be there include Brothers Beef Jerky and Rahea's Bakery.

The annual National Farmers Market Week celebration is coordinated by the Farmers Market Coalition, a nonprofit providing training, technical assistance and network-building to farmers markets nationwide.

The Perry Hall Farmers Market is from 9 a.m. to noon in front of Perry Hall Mini Golf, 4123 E. Joppa Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236.
