Water Rescue Crews Save Someone Trapped Between Rocks At Big Gunpowder: Officials
Baltimore County swiftwater rescue crews saved a person who was pinned off Belair Road, according to authorities.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — After someone was trapped at the Big Gunpowder Wednesday night, officials said swiftwater rescue crews intervened and saved the individual.
Crews were dispatched at 6:31 p.m. to the 11200 block of Belair Road, where officials said a person had become trapped between two rocks.
It was in the Pot Rocks area of the Gunpowder State Park, according to the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, which responded to the water rescue along with personnel from White Marsh, Fallston, Baltimore County and Texas.

The victim was rescued and was being taken for treatment, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported before 7:15 p.m.

Crews used a stokes basket to package the man who had fallen from the rocks and was unable to move, according to the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company.
He was hoisted to a Maryland State Police medevac for treatment of serious injuries, fire officials reported.
Crews said they were at the scene of the Big Gunpowder for two hours on the water rescue call.
