White Marsh Fire Station Opens at New Location

The $6 million facility is one of three new fire stations, along with buildings in Towson and Kingsville.

Congratulations to the men and women of the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company as we celebrated the opening of the new fire station on Philadelphia Road - a milestone for our community.

The $6 million project occurred because of contributions from the private and public sectors. While the station is no longer in my district, I advocated in 2012 for the donation of land from General Motors at the new site. Councilwoman Cathy Bevins and I were also involved in negotiations that merged this company with the Central Alarmers.

In addition to the White Marsh facility, a new Towson fire station and a renovated Kingsville station have also opened.

Many thanks to all who made today's event possible, and thanks to all our firefighters and paramedics.
