White Marsh Gas Station Sells $100K Ticket
A retiree had to double-check after seeing the results of her scratchoff ticket while sitting in her car in White Marsh.

WHITE MARSH, MD — A White Marsh woman scored a winning lottery ticket recently that will help finance a wedding as well as a tree project, lottery officials reported.
The woman, who was not identified by name, bought several tickets inside the White Marsh BP and scratched them off in her car. She won a $30 prize on one, while the 50x the Cash game showed she won $100,000, which she said put her in a state of disbelief. She went back inside the gas station to check in with a clerk.
“His eyes got real big and he said, ‘It’s real!’" the Maryland Lottery reported. The winner told lottery officials that the store clerk had to keep asking her if she was OK.
