White Marsh Shopping Venues Extend Hours, Require Youth Escorts

WHITE MARSH, MD — If you're still looking for presents to leave under the tree, you've got some time left. The Avenue at White Marsh and the White Marsh Mall are accommodating last-minute holiday shoppers with extended hours.

The Avenue at White Marsh and the White Marsh Mall are instituting their youth escort policies from Friday, Dec. 20, through the week of Christmas.

The Avenue at White Marsh will have its youth escort policy in effect from Friday, Dec. 20, through Tuesday, Dec. 31. This requires those under 17 years old to have an escort who is at least 21 after 5 p.m.

All unsupervised youths under 17 or those who do not have proof of age are required to have transportation from The Avenue by 5 p.m. or they may be subject to being barred from the property for three months. Read the youth escort policy from The Avenue, which contains special instructions for those going to the AMC Theatre.

Here are The Avenue hours through the end of 2019:

• General hours are 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily
• 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) — Small shops will be open. Hours for national retailers, AMC, the ice rink and restaurants will be extended. Customers are encouraged to contact individual retailers for specific hours of operation.
• Wednesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas): Closed. While small shops are closed, call individual businesses for specific hours of operation.
• 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31
• 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1

The Avenue at White Marsh is at 8125 Honeygo Boulevard.

At the White Marsh Mall, the parental guidance required program is in effect from Friday, Dec. 20, through Monday, Dec. 30. This means after 5 p.m., shoppers age 17 or younger need to be in the company of an adult who is at least 21 years old.

• 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve)
• Closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas)
• 9 am. – 9 pm. on Thursday, Dec. 26
• 10 am. – 9 pm. on Friday, Dec. 27
• 10 am. – 9 pm. on Saturday, Dec. 28
• 11 a.m - 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29
• 10 a.m - 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30
• 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve)
• 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1 (New Year's Day)

Hours may vary for select stores and restaurants. Mall walkers can enter the building at 7 a.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday; on Christmas, the mall will open its doors at 10 a.m.
