At White Marsh, New Year's Eve Ball to Drop Early

WHITE MARSH, MD - Don't want to stay up late for the ball to drop? Adults and children can ring in the new year early on The Avenue at White Marsh on New Year's Eve.

There will be face painting, giveaways and a photo booth at the shopping venue. The Tracey Eldridge Trio will perform live music at the outdoor event, held in the street between Verizon and Tilted Kilt.

At noon, the ball will drop to usher in 2017.

During the event, adults who buy an item at Slice On The Avenue can get a free slice of cheese pizza at the restaurant, which will be selling hot apple cider too. Cold Stone Creamery will have funnel cakes for sale.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, which will be given to the Salvation Army for donation to Baltimore homeless shelters. The blanket drive will be held in partnership with 101.9 FM.

Noon Year's Eve will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 31, The Avenue at White Marsh, 8125 Honeygo Boulevard, White Marsh.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, The Avenue at White Marsh will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. with the following exceptions:
