White Marsh Truck Stop Crash Draws Hazmat Team

Officials said there was a fuel spill involved.

A hazardous materials team responded to a crash in White Marsh on Thursday morning, according to officials.

The collision occurred at the White Marsh truck stop on Pulaski Highway, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reported before 9:30 a.m.

The Maryland Department of the Environment and hazardous materials team were called to clean up fuel that had spilled, according to the report.

The incident occurred the day after a dump truck crashed in Joppa, also spilling fuel and requiring hazmat crews to respond.
