Woman Carjacked Near White Marsh Mall: Police

Recent crime reports from the Perry Hall area include a carjacking near Perry Hall Boulevard and a robbery on Philadelphia Road.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in Perry Hall and surrounding areas.

A woman was carjacked at gunpoint in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Boulevard at 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, according to police. The vehicle was recovered, and while two suspects were taken into custody, officials said that two more individuals were outstanding.

The 26-year-old victim had been in her Honda CRV in the parking lot of White Marsh Mall when three suspects approached.

Two of them tried the passenger-side doors, which were locked.

The third suspect opened the driver's door, pointed a handgun at the woman and forced her from the SUV.

The suspect unlocked the other doors, at which point the two accomplices got in and they drove away.

The vehicle was recovered on Compass Road in Essex, where two suspects were taken into custody, according to Cpl. John Wachter. A third suspect and a fourth who drove the group to the scene of the crime were still on the loose, Wachter said.

Additional Crime Report — Robbery

Someone pried open the door to a woman's apartment, then assaulted and robbed her in the 12300 block of Philadelphia Road.

The robbery occurred at 9:35 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19. When the suspect got into the apartment, there was an argument. During the altercation, the suspect bit the victim and forcibly took her purse from her shoulder before leaving.
