Woman Dies In Crash In Baltimore County: Police

Two people were thrown off a vehicle on Joppa Road Monday morning, officials said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said woman died in a crash near Parkville Monday morning. She was a passenger in a vehicle that rolled over, according to authorities.

Elisha Denise Hemsley, 30, of the 4000 block of Belwood Avenue, was a passenger on a Can-Am Spyder that lost control after midnight, hit a median on East Joppa road near Waltham Woods Road and threw both people, police said.

Hemsley was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased, according to authorities.

There was no information available about the other person on the vehicle, officials said.

The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
