Woman Shot, Injured Near Franklin Square: Police
Officials say they think a woman who was shot near a bus stop by Franklin Square Hospital Tuesday night was targeted.

ROSEDALE, MD – A woman is recovering from a shooting near Franklin Square Tuesday night that put the hospital on lockdown, police said.
At 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers said they found a woman shot multiple times in the upper body across the street from a bus stop in the 9000 block of Franklin Square Drive.
Franklin Square Hospital was put on lockdown for an hour after the shooting as a precaution, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and authorities said they did not know her condition Wednesday morning.
Officials say they believe the woman was targeted, and the community is not in danger.

The victim was an employee at Franklin Square Hospital in environmental services, according to WJZ.
