Yorkie Was Dognapped, Sold by Juvenile Delinquent on Craigslist: Police
Have you seen Bella? Police said a teen was charged in White Marsh dognapping case that involved Craigslist ruse.

WHITE MARSH, MD — Investigators are trying to track down a dog they say was sold illegitimately on Craigslist. The pooch was purchased on Craigslist in the past month, and whoever has the Yorkie is being asked to return her, as she was sold by someone who stole her.
Bella, a Yorkshire terrier, wandered away from her home in White Marsh last month, police said. She has moles or skin tags on her hind legs and is 10 years old.
A Good Samaritan found the dog, put her on Craigslist on Oct. 16 and gave her to someone who claimed to be her owner, police said.

The 16-year-old girl who pretended to be Bella's owner took the dog and sold her on Craigslist, according to police, who said the teen has been charged as a juvenile in the case.
"Detectives are concerned that criminals may be taking lost pets off of the street and selling them on Craigslist," police said in a statement. "Criminals may also be pretending to be the owner of a dog listed as found on Craigslist just so they can take the dog and resell it on Craigslist."
