Your Personal Garden

Having a garden provides a place for you to grow your own flowers and tomatoes. The simple act of growing it yourself provides you, as a gardener, a sense of connection. Those cucumber and tomatoes always taste better when you’ve had your hands in the soil in a nurturing way.

Here at the Perry Hall Community Garden we have an assortment of gardeners. Some have been gardening for a very long time. Some for just a few seasons, and each year new folks want to get started. This year is no different.

Through the kind generosity of Rosedale Federal Bank who provides the garden space and local businesses like Chapel Hill Farm & Nursery and the dedication of all the returning gardeners from last year, our first year, we are stronger and will be growing again this year.

Many have returned and are excited to be putting their plants into their garden plots again this year. If you have always wanted to try gardening but have no place to do it come see what we have to offer.

There are a few plots left and we would like to have full participation this year. There are a total of 21 plots and we are trying to fill the garden project with 21 gardening enthusiasts. We will provide to with a gardening package which contains the expectations for this community project. Most of the activity is a do it on your own time effort, but we also hold small events for the whole group.
