Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is still going strong carrying her legacy to millions of children, and here in Cecil County we are proud to be sending over 2,000 free books to local preschoolers every month.
Help us celebrate our country's 250th birthday at Fairwinds Farm in North East! This year, our annual Fall Family Fun Fest's theme is a children's birthday party for Uncle Sam, with games and entertainment to keep all the kids smiling as their favorite grownups relax and soak up the autumn air.
Tickets are $10 each. Every child (up to 100 lb. weight) gets a free pony ride, and every adult a free chance for a gorgeous outdoor fire pit complete with all the fixings for s'mores! It's our biggest fundraiser of the year, and so extra pony rides and chances for the fire pit will be available for sale at the door.
Food, crafts, and a table filled with raffle prizes complete the afternoon. Come spend a few hours enjoying the beautiful outdoors (in a large, covered area in case of rain) and supporting Dolly's favorite mission and our local kids.
