• Body found in Cuyahoga River in Cleveland identified as missing Maryland man (washingtontimes.com) — A 24-year-old Perryville resident, Phoenix Phillips, who traveled to Cleveland to watch an NFL game was found dead in the Cuyahoga River days after he went missing. Cleveland authorities are still determining what happened after he became separated from his companion near the game, and the medical examiner has not yet released a cause of death.
   

• Maryland Lottery Powerball, Pick 3 results for Oct. 10, 2026 (delmarvanow.com) — Maryland Lottery players can now check the Oct. 10 winning numbers for Powerball, Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 and other games, and see how to claim prizes. For Perryville residents, Hollywood Casino on Chesapeake Overlook Parkway is one of the locations that can cash winning tickets up to $25,000, alongside the main lottery office in Baltimore.
