Get ready for another unforgettable evening of folk, bluegrass, and roots music as the North East Fall Folk & Bluegrass Festival returns to the Milburn Stone Theatre on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Now in its fourth year, the festival brings together an exciting lineup of artists who celebrate the storytelling, musicianship, and rich traditions of American roots music.
Headlining this year’s festival once again is Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass, one of the most respected and award-winning names in traditional bluegrass. Known for their powerful, unadorned style, Danny Paisley’s unmistakable vocals blend bluesy soul with the high-lonesome tradition of bluegrass. With a six-decade family legacy behind them and multiple International Bluegrass Music Association honors, Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass continue to deliver the authentic, energetic sound that has made them festival favorites across the country.

Joining them are Jesse James DeConto, from The Pinkerton Raid. Blending dreamy folk with thoughtful songwriting and a distinctly Americana spirit, Jesse explores the intersection of personal experience and the larger world around us. DeConto’s songs draw inspiration from everything from Celtic lore and STAR WARS to Kerouac, Woody Guthrie, John Lennon, Standing Rock, Laurel Canyon, and the complicated stories of his own family. Described by Americana Highways as “a fine blend of Beatles-esque dreamy folk,” Jesse James DeConto from The Pinkerton Raid brings a thoughtful, poetic voice and plenty of Big Dad Energy to the festival stage.
Also taking the stage are Cait & RoC, a dynamic acoustic duo whose music is rooted in a lifelong passion for creativity, artistry, and connection. Cait Dempsey brings years of performance experience and a gentle yet powerful vocal presence, while Richard of Carver is an accomplished songwriter and guitarist with decades devoted to the craft of melody and musical arrangement. Together, their distinct talents create a sound that feels intimate, genuine, and uniquely their own.

Whether you’re a longtime bluegrass enthusiast, a lover of folk music, or simply looking for an evening of exceptional live performance, the North East Fall Folk & Bluegrass Festival promises a memorable night of music and storytelling. Come celebrate the traditions of American roots music while discovering the artists carrying those traditions into the future.

From Broadway legends Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens — the celebrated creative minds behind Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, and Ragtime — comes a spectacular new musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' most beloved tale.
Ebenezer Scrooge has spent a lifetime accumulating wealth and dismissing the happiness of those around him. But on one fateful Christmas Eve, three ghostly visitors take the old miser on an unforgettable journey through his Past, Present, and Future — forcing him to confront the consequences of a life lived without compassion or generosity. What begins as a night of reckoning becomes a profound transformation, as Scrooge discovers that it is never too late to open one's heart and embrace the true spirit of Christmas. Running time: T.B.A.
Please be advised: A Christmas Carol contains mild supernatural imagery and ghostly apparitions, as well as some emotionally intense moments that may be frightening for very young children. Recommended for ages 8 and up, parental discretion is advised.
A CHRISTMAS CAROL is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com

SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE: THE PLAY Show Dates Friday, January 29, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2 & 7:30 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2 p.m.

Tickets $24 Adults | $22 Seniors/Military | $20 Students
Based on the beloved Academy Award-winning film, Shakespeare in Love is an enchanting, hilarious, and irresistibly romantic stage play that transports audiences to the bustling, bawdy world of Elizabethan London — where the greatest love story ever written was itself born from the greatest love story never told. Young Will Shakespeare is in crisis.
The deadline for his new play is fast approaching, the theater company is counting on him, and his quill has run dry. Paralyzed by writer's block and desperately in need of inspiration, Will finds himself adrift — until a chance encounter changes everything. Viola, a feisty, brilliant, and beautiful young woman with a passion for the theater that rivals Will's own, will stop at nothing — including disguising herself as a man to defy the laws of the day — to appear on stage in his next production.
As their love blossoms against a backdrop of mistaken identity, ruthless scheming, and gloriously chaotic backstage theatrics, Will discovers the muse he never knew he was looking for. From their passionate and forbidden romance emerges the words, the characters, and the heart of his greatest masterpiece — Romeo and Juliet.
Witty, warm, and wonderfully theatrical, Shakespeare in Love is a celebration of the power of love, the magic of storytelling, and the timeless belief that the show must always go on.
Please be advised: Shakespeare in Love contains themes of romance, mistaken identity, and political intrigue, as well as depictions of romantic relationships and implied intimacy. The production also includes mild language and brief moments of violence. Recommended for ages 13 and up; parental discretion is advised.Click More Info to purchase tickets
