Cecil County Public Schools Joins Facebook

Cecil County Public Schools announced Thursday that it has created a Cecil County Public Schools Facebook page to communicate with families.

“Our Facebook page provides an additional avenue for us to communicate directly with our stakeholders about all that is happening in Cecil County Public Schools,” D’Ette Devine, Ed.D., superintendent of schools, said in a prepared statement.

The page will communicate information like school closings and delays; important announcements; and other news involving Cecil County Public Schools students, staff and activities, according to a statement from the school system.

The Facebook page for Cecil County Public Schools is located at https://www.facebook.com/CCPSMD. According to its page, the school system joined Facebook July 16; the administration officially announced its launch Aug. 15.
