Cecil County Public Schools Make Weather Decision

Public schools in Cecil County will be closed Tuesday for students and 10-month staff, the school system reports.

School offices will remain open.

The Cecil County School of Technology orientation planned for Tuesday night has been rescheduled; it will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

There is a winter weather advisory in effect in Cecil County until 4 p.m. Approximately 1 to 3 inches of snow are expected to fall before snow tapers off midday, according to the National Weather Service.
