Cecil County Public Schools Makes Weather Decision For Dec. 3

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Severe fog conditions have prompted a school delay in Cecil County on Monday. Cecil County Public Schools will start two hours late on Monday, Dec. 3.

Officials announced Monday morning that the following modifications will be made:

• Schools will open two hours late with a modified pre-K and pre-school schedule.
  • Modified pre-K and preschool schedule morning session: 11 a.m. – 12:50 p.m
  • Modified pre-K afternoon session: 1:50 .- 3:30 p.m. (may vary slightly by school)
• Maintenance, operations, food services personnel report on time unless directed otherwise
• All other employees are to report to work as soon as possible given safe driving conditions.
