Cecil County Government

To limit the spread of COVID-19, Cecil County Government is offering curbside service at the Finance office at the County Administration Building, located at 200 Chesapeake Blvd in Elkton, for residents who choose to pay property taxes and other fees in person. County residents, and especially senior citizens and those with disabilities, are still strongly encouraged to pay by mail or electronically.

The curbside service, which coincides with the annual issuance of property tax bills, will begin on Monday, July 20th during regular business hours. Residents may pull up outside the administration building and park in the designated curbside spot, remain in their car, and call 410-996-3038 or look for an attendant. County staff will come to collect checks or money order payments only (no cash will be accepted curbside).

County employees will wear face coverings or masks and exercise COVID-related etiquette during the transactions. We ask that individuals where masks when interacting with our staff as well.

Cecil County’s Finance office inside the building remains closed to the public due to the pandemic. A drop box in the building vestibule and a locked drop box in the front of the building are still available, in addition to the new curbside service. If you would like to make a payment in cash, the Finance office is available by appointment only by calling 410-996-5385.

Cecil County Government has been operating throughout the COVID-19 crisis, with modifications where necessary to protect the public and county employees. For more information, visit the county website at www.ccgov.org.
