Cecil County Public Schools Make Weather Decision For Thursday
BREAKING: Cecil County Public Schools has announced a change in schedule due to snow on Thursday, Jan. 4.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Students in Cecil County have the day off on Thursday, Jan. 4. Cecil County Public Schools will be closed due to inclement weather to students and 10-month staff.
School offices will open at 10 a.m. in Cecil County. Officials said they would continue to monitor conditions.
Originally, schools were to open on a two-hour delay but said that they were reevaluating conditions Thursday morning.

Cecil County is under a winter weather advisory calling for 3 to 5 inches of snow and blustery conditions from 9 p.m. on Wednesday to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Dangerous travel conditions are anticipated during the winter weather advisory period due to blowing snow, with gusts up to 40 mph, and scattered power outages possible.
