Perryville Duck Hunting Lottery Opens
The Town of Perryville is offering hunters the chance to enter until Aug. 20.

The Town of Perryville is holding a lottery for the right to use the three duck hunting blinds near the Perryville Community Park during duck hunting season, according to an announcement on its website.
Duck hunting season is roughly between October and January; the Department of Natural Resources outlines a more specific calendar based on the type of duck.
The lottery in Perryville will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Town Hall (515 Broad St.), and anyone interested must register by 5 p.m. that day.

To qualify for the lottery, registrants must live within the corporate limits of the Town of Perryville and possess a hunting license, according to the town's announcement.
