Ed Norris To Return to Radio after Motorcycle Crash

The Baltimore sports radio show host returns to 105.7 FM The Fan on Wednesday.

Following his motorcycle crash earlier this year, 105.7 The Fan co-host Ed Norris will return to the radio station Wednesday morning from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., 105.7 sports reporter Kevin Battle said.

"We're really glad he's been able to recover. It's been a long couple of weeks, and we continue to support his recovery," Battle said.

Norris, who lives in Hampstead, was injured on April 24 after laying down his motorcycle to avoid hitting a truck in Darlington. He was driving his Victory motorcycle northbound on US Route 1 at MD Route 161 around 2:30 p.m, according to Maryland State Police.

Norris, who is a former state and city police chief, was airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after suffering injuries including broken ribs.

Battle said he is excited for Norris’ return to the show, which airs weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

"I want to thank everyone for their thoughts, concerns and prayers. It has been a difficult couple of months. Thanks to all. I can’t wait to talk to you tomorrow," Norris told CBS Baltimore.

Listen live to the show.
