Government Employees Can Get Free Food at Denny's
Federal and military workers can get a buy-one-get-one-free entree.

Federal employees can get a free meal at Denny's restaurants this month.
"On the heels of the government shutdown, Denny's is offering all federal employees and military personnel with a valid government ID one free entrée of his or her choice with the purchase of another entrée," Denny's Restaurants said in a press release.

This goes for all of the Denny's in Maryland, Virginia and D.C., according to the release, which says: "Furloughed federal workers and military personnel need only present valid ID to redeem the buy-one-get-one ... offer" through Oct. 31.
