Hollywood Casino Perryville Yields $7.78 Million in June

Hollywood Casino raked in nearly $8 million in June, the Maryland Lottery reported.

The Perryville casino generated $7,784,814 from both slot machines and table games in June, according to the Maryland Lottery.

Of that, $3.178 million will go to the Education Trust Fund; $2.129 million goes to the casino; more than $450,000 goes to the horse racing purse account; nearly $355,000 goes to local impact grants; almost $113,000 goes to the race tracks facility renewal account; $129,000 goes to the Maryland Lottery; and more than $96,000 goes to small, minority and women-owned businesses.

Banking table games were the most lucrative in Perryville in June.

The breakdown last month at the Perryville casino was as follows, per day:

• $187.75 for slot machines
• $2,788.31 for banking table games
• $1,367.60 for non-banking table games

The casino has 1,158 slot machines, 12 banking table games and 10 non-banking table games, the Maryland Lottery said.

Perryville had eight non-banking table games but added another two poker tables on June 28, the agency noted.

Overall, Maryland's four casinos yielded $64,497,305 last month, the Maryland Lottery said in a report issued Friday.
