New Street Lamps Coming to River View

Perryville is holding a May 9 public meeting on the project.

Work is planned to illuminate the community of River View in Perryville, but before it gets underway, the town is briefing residents on the project.

On May 9, citizens can get more information during a meeting at Town Hall.

The lighting project involves installing conduits and then street lamps in the River View community, according to an announcement on the town of Perryville's website.

As part of the work, approximately 3,200 feet of drilling will occur, followed by installation of two-inch conduit in River View Hills, according to the town's request for proposals.

A public meeting on the River View lighting project will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, at Town Hall (515 S. Broad St.) in Perryville.
