Perryville Fireman Named Local Hero

Each week, CecilDaily.com picks a "local hero" to feature, and recently it looked to Perryville for inspiration.

This week's local hero, Brian Jones, who is assistant chief at the Community Fire Company of Perryville, talked about his experience as a firefighter since he was 16 years old in this YouTube video.

Jones is listed as assistant chief at Station 6 and a board member of the Community Fire Company of Perryville on the fire department's website.

Recently, he responded to a July 17 electrical blaze in a home on Elm Street. According to ExploreHarford.com, he also handled the April 23 condo fire at Owens Landing.
